AIDS Vaccine 2001 is an international biennial conference created to provide a setting for the presentation of the latest basic, clinical, and public health data relevant to AIDS vaccine development and an opportunity for informal and formal discussions that will facilitate international and interdisciplinary collaborations in the field of AIDS vaccinology. The mission of the conference is to advance research in the field by providing a forum (live and on-line) for the sharing of new information regarding the development, delivery, evaluation, production, and implementation of AIDS vaccines and immunotherapies. The conference will bring together researchers, clinicians, epidemiologists, public health officials, representatives from the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry, and policy makers from around the world.
